About the Workshop
A cyber incident is more than an IT problem—it can quickly become an organization-wide emergency.
Join SWHSP for an interactive afternoon focused on the broader organizational response to cyber incidents. Using real-world case studies and facilitated breakout discussions, we’ll explore how organizations have navigated incidents from initial response through recovery—and what others can learn from their experiences.
Participants will examine internal and external communication challenges, identify potential gaps in their own organization’s readiness, and consider the coordination, continuity, and recovery actions that may be needed when systems go down or normal operations are disrupted.
Who Should Attend?
This workshop was designed with non-IT professionals in mind. While cybersecurity and IT partners are welcome, the focus is on the people who may be responsible for supporting the organizational response, communicating with employees and leadership, sharing information with partners or the public, maintaining operations, and supporting recovery during a cyber incident.
That includes professionals in:
- public safety
- business continuity
- risk management
- healthcare
- education
- critical infrastructure
- security
- nongovernment organizations
